“Stranger Things” Netflix’s retro sci-fi hit swept its viewers with an extremely strong first season which left a lot of questions to fans. Now that the second season is coming, most of the questions will get answered, but new once may also take place.

To those who cannot wait for the second season of “Stranger Things” will be happy to hear this good news. Inquisitr reports that “Stranger Things” Season 2 is expected to launch most probably the same time as the first season did. Which means that the season will most probably launch at mid-2017, at the month of June or July. After Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) defeated the monster in the Upside-Down world, many questions were left regarding the future of “Stranger Things” and its characters. Fans can start counting down since the possible release date is out.

On a lighter note, IMDB has released the top breakthrough actors on their site. Vanity Fair reports that on the top of the list stands Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven on the “Stranger Things” Netflix series. This places the 12-year-old actress on the top place among the actors who were recently introduced to the mainstream media. The young girl takes place above Evan Rachel Wood from the successful HBO series “Westworld” and Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays the Negan on “The Walking Dead” series.

Among other interesting news, CNET reports that “Stranger Things” will be releasing branded merchandise to fans. This breaks Netflix’s typical policy concerning their products. However, content chief Ted Sarandos said that there has been a large outcry for “Stranger Things” merchandise. Fans have been asking for branded products and now the company will try the market by releasing “Stranger Things” themed t-shirts. If the project is successful, content chief Sarandos sees a big opportunity arising from there.
