Multiple predictions surfaced the internet such as a new villain to force Lelouch to reveal himself. Also, there are theories that Lelouch didn't die at all. According to a video analysis from a youtube user NextLevelNoobs, Lelouch possessed the power of the code the reason why he is immortal. To better explain the theory, Lelouch was able to gain the code from his father who he killed from the previous season.

Another theory is based on CC's speech at the end of the season. It seems like it is being addressed to Lelouch who is not from afar. Some state that the driver of the crane CC was laying upon was Lelouch. The possibility increases when a fragment of Lelouch showed up.

Although there are no confirmation yet if the allegations are true since the creators are focusing on compiling all the previous season for the Code Geass anime film adaptation. It has been announced that further details towards Code Geass Season 3 will be revealed sometime in 2017.
