In 2026, those who dreamt of going to the moon may finally turn their dreams into reality. The project's proprietor, Naveen Jain, will make traveling and vacationing to the moon available to everyone who wishes and is capable of going.
In a Next Big Future report, Naveen's plan was featured and explained for everyone to understand. The lunar travel under Jain's company, the Moon Express, is likely to be available 10 years from today. The Moon Express will use a space rocket with parts that is 3D-printed.
The Moon Express is the only private company that was allowed and authorized to hold commercial trips to the moon, reports The Telegraph. Before Jain's team officially drive ordinary people to the moon for a vacation, the Moon Express will conduct a series of lunar missions starting 2017. These missions, according to Jain, will teach humans to live outside Earth.
Jain has long wanted to colonize other planets. He believes that this is a must among businessmen who are able. Aside from the mere fact of making humans experience "out of this world" spots, humans must do certain things that would eventually lead them to save the Earth when space matters loom big threats to the planet.
However, these moon flights will not be easily reached by those who want to. Unless they have $10,000 each, they can pursue their much-awaited trip to the moon. Yes, these moon travels will be unbelievably expensive since the cost of attaining and maintaining such operations. According to The Inquisitr, the first in a series of private missions by the Moon Express next year will amount to around $5 million.
The series of these moon flights must be perfected before its public launch on 2026. Hopefully, by then, everything will get even smoother and that more humans will be able to afford the trip.
The Moon Express will be one of the contestants for the Google Lunar X-Prize. Google will award $20 million to whichever team that gets to the moon and install a robotic lander first.
