Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden Have Tied the Knot

Cameron Diaz and her beau Benji Madden have tied the knot. Their rep has reportedly confirmed the nuptials exclusively to PEOPLE.

"We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends," the couple told the magazine, which added that the two "were married [Monday] evening in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles."

A source told US Magazine in regards to the couple's engagement, "Everyone thinks it's wild, but are so happy for them. Benji tends to fall in love easily, but this time it's for real and he landed a great girl. They obviously both make each other incredibly happy, and there's nothing better than that."

The couple invited more than 90 guests to their wedding, which took place inside their Beverly Hills home with the reception held outside under a tent. Diaz's bridesmaids included her sister, Chimene, fellow "Charlie's Angels" star, Drew Barrymore and Nicole Richie, who is married to Benji's twin brother, Joel Madden. Madden's nephew, Sparrow, was the ring bearer.

Some of the celebrity guests included Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and Samantha Ronson.

"It all felt very down-to-earth and sweet. Guests arrived smiling and almost seemed giddy. Everyone was excited to be a part of the wedding," one source said.

Another source added, "Getting married is the next step when you are totally in love and comfortable with someone. Cameron has found true happiness."

Diaz, 42 and Madden, 35 met through mutual friend Richie. The couple started dating in May 2014 and got engaged right before Christmas.

This is the first marriage for both stars. Neither of them have children.
