A recent review analysis showed that "Google Pixel" is a better phone than "iPhone 7". Though Apple has its own ecosystem which is sometimes found to be superior to Google Pixel, but it could not provide some features the latter provided. It is interesting to see whether the analysis is being reflected in the news of sales.

While comparing with iPhone 7, Pixel is winning with its display as it can provide rich colors with its AMOLED display, whereas the former's sharpness on screen resolution in Retina display is less impressive. The Google Pixel phone is ensuring a fast charging comparatively with iPhone 7, as it reaches nearly 100 percent in 2 hours but the iPhone fills only 72 percent of the battery by the time.

It is also reported that Google Pixel phone is found to be faster than iPhone 7 ensuring a smooth performance while giving excellent battery pack up. Also, the Google phone is lighter comparatively with the iPhone. Though it is not a huge factor, the phone is almost 20 grams less weighing than the iPhone 7. Also, the Google Pixel phone is slightly smaller but provides the same screen size of iPhone 7 and a better grip on the phone.

While coming to the sales, the Google Pixel phones received strong sales over the Thanksgiving weekend with 112 percent increase, whereas Apple got only 13 percent activation during the period for iPhone 7. Even Samsung Galaxy S7 received 36 percent sales showing that the iPhone 7 could not repeat the success its predecessors. This is an indication of the dominance of Google Pixel phones over the iPhone 7.

It should be noted that the story is not ending with iPhone 7 or Google Pixel phone and its review as the successors of these phones are already being prepared.  Apple is getting ready with iPhone 8, which features OLED screen, wireless charging according to news reports. There are rumors suggesting even Google is also working on the next generation of Google Pixel phone. Wait for 2017 to see more tech battles.
