Heart Scales are one of the most sought after items in "Pokemon Sun and Moon". It is the item used to help Pokemon remember the moves they have forgotten or will learn in the future. All the player needs to do is take one Heart Scale and the Pokemon who needs help and bring them to the Move Relearner NPC. But the first step before anything else is actually locating the Heart Scales which is not really that easy to find.

Heart Scales Found through Thieving and Fishing in "Pokemon Sun and Moon"

For this method, players must have a fishing rod, a Pokemon that knows TM46 Move Thief and access to Route 9. Players need to fish for the Pokemon Luvdisc as 1 out of 2 of it holds a Heart Scale. They are usually found on Route 9 so players have to find a fishing spot in the area. When the player has finally encountered a Luvdisc, use the move Thief to it, making sure that Pokemon is not holding anything, to steal a Heart Scale. If it is not holding any, encourage it to call for help and use the same move until players find one. As soon as the player gets a Heart Scale, they can run away or hunt a new Luvdisc to farm for more Heart Scales.

Heart Scales Found by Eating at a Restaurant in "Pokemon Sun and Moon"

In this method, players just need to eat at the restaurants to get free Heart Scales. Ordering a 500 Poke Dollar meal gets the player 1 Hear Scale in Seafolk Village, the 1040 Poke Dollar meal in Konikoni City's restaurant gets 2 Hear Scale while the 4000 Poke Dollar Meal in Malie City Restaurant gets 4 Heart Scales.

Heart Scales Found in Festival Plaza in "Pokemon Sun and Moon"

The last method is probably the hardest way to get Heart Scales in the game. It requires the player to send their Pokemon in the Haunted House Attraction. According to other players, there are occasions that their Pokemon returns with Heart Scales although the chances are not very high.
