'Secrets and Lies' Season 2 Finale News, Updates: Star Juliette Lewis, EP Barbie Kligman & Their Insights On Show's Season 3 Return
Fans experienced a heart-stopping finale episode of "Secrets and Lies" Season 2. Reports say that most of the show's season 1 hike in rating was credited to Ryan Phillipe's character. Since he left the show, a constant decline in viewers' rating was seen in the show's reports of performance statistics.
Critics are unsure and confused at how "Secrets and Lies" will move from all the drama it exposed on its Season 2 finale. Another reason why fans of "Secrets and Lies" Season 2 should be worried about the show not getting renewed for a third season is that critics have seen that the show did not risk in introducing more characters to note.
Another factor which may have led to the show's possible cancellation is its schedule. Compared to the first season, "Secrets and Lies" was released in a vacant period wherein there are only quite a number of shows to look out for.
On Season 2, however, it was released on a period where schedules have been packed with a lot of interesting shows. Aside from this, the show also returned 16 months after Season 1 ended. When asked about the show's Season 3 return, Executive Producer Barbie Kligman only said that "It really just depends on where ABC is and what the numbers are."
Meanwhile, star Juliette Lewis also said her words about the future of the show and said "The options are endless and really exciting, but I'm not sure what else to say or where ABC will even stand with us. We just hope for the best. You never know - it's all a journey and an adventure. I have theories but I can't say them because I might get in trouble."
