'Uncharted: The Lost Legacy' Is A Stand-Alone Game; More Details Announced
‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ has been released in May this year and it seems like Naughty Dog is not yet done with it. It has just announced a new content will be added related to the game. The announcement has made fans anticipate once again the greatly acclaimed video game series.
Sony Interactive Entertainment recently held the 2016 PlayStation Experience at Anaheim, California on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4. The event showcased various panels as well as several unreleased video games that were up for demo plays for people who graced the event. The event also was participated by a number of exhibitors.
One of the exhibitors was, of course, the main host, Sony, and it revealed several titles to look forward to. One of these is the release of “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy”, which will be a new game taken from the “Uncharted” franchise series developed by Naughty Dog but will not necessarily be inclined to follow the main story’s plot. Apparently, it is a standalone adventure game that will feature two of the supporting characters in the “Uncharted” series.
The new “Uncharted” game will star the female characters, Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross. Chloe was Nathan Drake’s love interest and was part of “Uncharted 2: Among Thieves” and “Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception”. Nadine, on the other hand, is the South African antagonist in the fourth installment, who made sure that Nathan went through a lot of difficulties dealing with her and her goons as he went on with his thieving adventures.
The upcoming game will be an independent game because it is going to be an add-on the latest main “Uncharted” game. Naughty Dog has decided to release it as an additional content because when “Last of Us” released “The Last of Us: Left Behind”, it instantly became a hit and was a successful experiment. The upcoming release will be the video game series’ first ever single player mode downloadable content (DLC). Sony has yet to announce when the DLC will be made available.
