'Vampire Diaries' Spoilers, Recap & Updates: Stefan’s Sacrifice, Damon's Death & Episode 7 Spoilers; An Unwanted Guest & A Character Will Die?

The upcoming end of "Vampire Diaries" caused writers to feel compelled to make every episode count and that it would point to the direction of a certain ending. The latest episode had a lot of scenes that will make the viewers think but there were also some obvious ones.

The latest "Vampire Diaries" episode entitled "Detoured on Some Random Backwoods Path to Hell" is a very good one to start the journey towards the end. What is in this episode then? A short recap  must do the deed and this will contain spoilers for those who haven't watched the Dec. 2 Season 8 episode of the series.

The Salvatore Brothers of "Vampire Diaries" could really clash anytime. Caroline's kids have been kidnapped by  Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan's (Paul Wesley) wedding is in trouble because of that, seriously, Caroline wouldn't want to marry a Salvatore in the moment. Stefan seems not to catch a break from Damon's deeds.

The "Vampire Diaries" episode features the rescue, Alaric, the father of Caroline's daughters, called Seline threatening her and it's not just an empty threat as Alaric is a merciless vampire killer. On the other hand, Enzo and Bonnie have a problem as Enzo was being mentally tortured by Sybil who still hates him from bailing on her. Viewers find it funny though that she's eating Bacon while doing so.

The kidnap episode of the "Vampire Diaries" was solved by Stefan as he helped Enzo and Caroline by making a deal with Sybil. The two daughters of Caroline was an offering for the Devil who ended up to be Cade and the deal could be just one thing. The Salvatore Brothers in exchange for the girls. Cade is not dumb to miss that chance. Stefan told Caroline about it and she hated it but it's a good plot for the ending. The episode also showed Damon being staked, although he deserves it people know he can always survive it as he's one of the lead.

Now that "Vampire Diaries" is coming to an end a revelation came out. Matt Donovan's mother, Kelly, was supposedly going to be introduced as a succubus but was drawn out because it is too much of a supernatural which could destroy the other possibilities of the show.

Before "Vampire Diaries" jumps to the end, what will happen in Episode 7?. It looks like Caroline's Christmas /Stefan's goodbye/Damon resurrection party is happening. Damon and Sybil, the unwanted guest will come and chances are, another character will die.
