Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will continue the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's (Chris Pratt) true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

According to Digital Spy, the first “Guardian Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” trailer has been released and it seems the sequel to Marvel’s 2014 space romp will be even more epic. There is a lot going on, tentacle monsters, mind-reading aliens and all the Baby Groot you can shake an adorable sentient stick at. The Guardians will fight tentacled horror. Zoe Saldana Gamora will get busy with her blades while Dave Bautista’s Drax will take the direct route and leap down the creature’s throat. While the Guardians are fighting the creature, Baby Groot will struggle to understand why he shouldn’t press the big red button that will immediately detonate a home-made nuke. There will be at least one major space battle. “Guardians 2” is the first film to be shot on a Red Weapon 8k camera which will bring high resolution and more vibrant colors.

According to Independent, “Guardians Of The Galaxy” is outranking “The Avengers”, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Iron Man” when it comes to critics’ list. In this sequel, Quill is set to come face-to-face with his own long-lost father: the Ego the Living Planet (Kurt Russell).

According to Telegraph, Vol. 2 will revolve around the parentage of Peter Quill. The director James Gunn said there is a lot of mysteries in Guardians 2 and with them, people really go through every single little shot and try to figure out what the movie is about.

“Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2” will be aired on May 5, 2017. Watch the official trailer below.
