While “Blindspot” is taking a mid-season break like most of the series now, it looks like season 3 is not far away too. On January 4, this drama is bringing back a lot of action and drama after Jane (Jaimie Alexander) discovers that Sandstorm is gearing up for an imminent attack and she risks everything to send a secret SOS to her FBI team.

According to Movie News Guide, “Blindspot” has been losing viewers. Season 1 episode one scored 10.605 million viewers, while the second season premiere episode scored 7.098. Meanwhile, the season 2 has averagely 5.596 viewers per episode. A little disappointing considering season 1 had 6.92 million viewers (live and same-day). But, the action just started to heat up. The midseason finale presented more mystery that Jane Doe, Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and the rest of the team need to solve. Shepherd (Michelle Hurd) and Sandstorm have gone underground while Kurt still doesn’t know why he has been spared from the terrorist organization’s final attack against FBI. The creator of the show, Martin Gero promised that all of your questions will be answered in the upcoming episodes. But, that doesn’t mean this is the end of Jane Doe’s story.

According to Tripped Media, there is a huge possibility for a third season. “Blindspot” is about a young woman who woke up in Times Square with no memory of who she was and who was later held in the custody of FBI. Her body is covered in tattoos which are hiding clues about upcoming terrorist events and also her past.

According to Mobile & Apps, episode 9 ended with Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and Borden (Ukweli Roach) pointing a gun at each other after she discovered he is the mole inside the FBI and as they fight, a gunshot was heard. Fans are speculating that Patterson is shot by Borden but she won’t die, and as soon as she recovers, she will try to get revenge.

“Blindspot” season 2 episode 10 will be aired on January 4, 2017.
