‘The Flash’ Season 3: Barry’s 2056 Message Beyond Flashpoint; The Speedster Looks At Himself In New Teaser? Will He Time Travel Again?

"The Flash" Season 3 is centered on Flashpoint, a timeline created by Barry Allen when he went back in time to save his mother. Unfortunately for his friends, Flashpoint made irreparable damages that fractured Barry's relationship to his loved ones. To make things worse for our favorite superhero, his message from 2056 apparently relates to something beyond Flashpoint.

In a report from Entertainment Weekly, an interview with "The Flash" Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed that Barry's futuristic message for Rip Hunter may point to something other than Flashpoint's repercussions. "The message from the future relates to Flashpoint, but it also may relate to something else coming up," Kreisberg explained. For this reason, it is speculated that Barry will once again tamper the timeline on Season 3 of "The Flash."

It remains to be seen what would force the scarlet speedster to alter the timeline after everything that Flashpoint presented. Fans of "The Flash" are well aware that the superhero already realized how dangerous time traveling is, so something huge might pressure him to do that again. In relation to Barry's time travel, the new teaser released for Season 3 episode 9 gave us some clues to what might happen in the future.

"The Flash" mid-season finale teaser saw an image of the superhero looking at Iris West and Barry (himself) from a window. This apparently made fans confused as this could mean that Barry has gone time traveling again. This could also convey, however, that Barry is in Earth-3 and he could just be merely looking at their doppelgangers in Jay Garrick's world.

To explain it further, Barry will visit Earth-3 to get help from Jay. The reason behind is that the new husk villain created by Dr. Alchemy is unique and something that the superhero and S.T.A.R. Labs have not seen before, NewsEveryDay reported. The situation will require the scarlet speedster to ask another speedster's hand in defeating the new threat to Central City.
