Telltale Games To Officially Launch 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Game; Reveals First Teaser

Independent video game developer, Telltale Games has just dropped the news that it will be launching another new game and this time, inspired by the Marvel film, “Guardians of the Galaxy”. It has named the upcoming game as “Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series” and released the first trailer just yesterday. Home to many notable games, fans are already eager to see the new game from the company.

Telltale Games, also known as Telltale Inc. started operations in July 2004. By 2005, it officially released its first game called “Telltale Texas Hold’em’, which is a poker card game. The company has already developed and released games from popular series such as “The Walking Dead” and “Game of Thrones” and even a game dedicated to DC superhero “Batman”.

Kevin Bruner, who is the CEO of Telltale Games have shed light on the upcoming game. He has described it as a mini role-playing game where players can take on various characters within the team, which consists of Star Lord, Drax The Destroyer, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot. The player can direct the adventures of the characters within the universe.

Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series” will feature the company’s signature storytelling tactics, which fans can immerse into. Telltale Games has quite the reputation and several of the games they have developed gained them millions of players and fans all over the world. It has not been said as to which platforms the new game will be published in but it will most likely be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile devices just like its previous recent games.

Bruner further announced that the said game is set to release next year but he did not specify when exactly in 2017 the game will premiere. They are also planning to release “Game of Thrones: Season Two” game and details about it have yet to be announced. With Telltale Games announcing back in 2005 its partnership with Marvel, fans will probably be treated to more Marvel-themed games in the coming years.
