They started a petition to have the changes made by the supplier, to which they got over 110,000 signatures for the movement.

According to the Bank of England, Innovia has responded to the concerns and said that only an extremely small amount of tallow and that the substance is used only in the early stage of the production process of the polymer pellets. In a statement made by the CEO of The Vegetarian Society, the central bank had been responsive to them and their concerns, assuring the public that this shall be addressed with the utmost efforts.
