It was recently reported that the widely popular mobile game Pokemon Go's Nearby feature is now available in more regions.

The game's developer Niantic Labs announced the good news on its website. This is available all over the States except Hawaii. The feature is also available in some parts of Europe as well.

Niantic further added that it will be waiting for feedbacks regarding Nearby to improve it in the future. They add that they will keep on reviewing the feedback that they get from the players - those that have been submitted at their official social media accounts and will act on it as necessary.

Pokemon Go's Nearby feature debuted in San Francisco, California before expanding in November to all states west of the Mississippi River (Hawaii and Alaska  are not included yet), as well as Canadian regions such as British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the western half of Ontario. And in Australia, Nearby is now available in all states and territories, as reported by Game Spot.

According to Niantic, they are grateful for the support of the fans for the first six months of the release. The fans reactions were nothing short of inspiring. Because of the positive reactions of the players, they aim to improve the features that are already existing and will release new and exciting content in the coming days.

How To Use The 'Pokemon Go' Nearby Feature? The Nearby feature in Pokemon Go is a game changing feature for its fans, making Pokemon-catching time more effective. With the feature, it is much easier to find out exactly where the Pokemon is located. Here are the steps provided by Pocket-lint. Nearby sits in the "sightings" section at the bottom right-hand corner of your display. Using the new feature is simple:

ONE. Tap the bottom right-hand tab to open up the Nearby screen. TWO.  Pokemon Nearby is shown with a picture, taken from the local Poke Stop. THREE. Tap on the desired Pokemon to be caught, then tap on the footprints below the location and Pokemon picture. FOUR. The map then zooms to a top-down view, showing the area, near a Poke Stop, that the Pokemon was sighted. FIVE. When returning to the normal Pokemon Go navigation view, that selected Pokemon is indicated with a pink footprints indicator to follow and proceed to catch it.

Upon arriving at the location, the player can either find a Pokemon there or will get a message to tell you that it has fled the scene. The best thing about the Nearby feature in Pokemon Go is that it helps catchers make decisions about which way to go and what to do. This feature should make it easier to locate the Pokemon that still needs to be caught.
