‘Darksiders: Warmastered Edition’ Latest News And Updates: Video Game Debuts On Steam; Owners To Get This Edition for Free

A recent announcement on Steam's official website indicated that Virgil Games and THQ Nordic have unveiled the re-mastered version of "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition." The latest version comes with features that will improve the standard game version. The classic version was released on the console system of PlayStation 3.

The Video Game Offers Support For Higher Video Resolutions

The "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" offers support for a video output of up to 4K resolution. It will also double all the resolution of the game's textures. The video game also features cut scenes that are re-rendered. Thus, it now offers high quality cinematics. It now has rework and rendering improvements done on the entire game.

The shadow rendering capability of the re-mastered version of the "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" has greatly improved. It makes textures appear crisper and sharper. The video game also features post processing effects. There are also other additions such as new Steam trading cards, a wide range of graphic choices, a native Steam controller support and an optimized frame rate.

Gamers Need To Have These Things On Their PCs

To be able to play and enjoy the "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" the gamer should take note of the following system requirements. The requirements include a PC with a minimum Windows 7 operating system, with a processor that must be at least an AMD Dual Core CPU or an Intel processor. The memory of the PC should have at least 4 GB RAM. With regards to graphics, the GPU must be an NVIDIA card, or AMD, with at least 1GB RAM. The very least storage capacity of the PC should be 36 GB.

An announcement by THQ Nordic which was posted on Steam's official website also indicated that all owners of "Darksiders" of any Steam copy will get their free copy of the re-mastered "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" automatically. Each owner will have his copy as part of his library. The company recommends for owners to restart their Steam clients.
