'Final Fantasy XV' Fight With Adamantoise Takes Only 50 Minutes; Tips On How To Beat The Tough Boss

News have arisen stating that one of the toughest monster boss in “Final Fantasy XV” has been located and encountered. Claimed to be the hardest and longest boss fight in the said video game, encountering the Adamantoise turtle might take up 72 hours of gameplay. The Adamantoise was first featured in the opening of the sneak peeks Square Enix released for the new “Final Fantasy” game back in September 2014.

Two weeks ago, Elijah Wood, who was fortunate enough to play the game before the official release with Conan O’Brien, said that it indeed took 72 hours to defeat the big bad boss. This was a huge contrast to what Director Hajime Tabata announced that the original estimated time to beat the huge monster was supposedly 15 hours. Maybe that was possible if the character were at decent average levels.

But just recently both claims were debunked when a player uploaded his gameplay through his YouTube channel named PowerPyx, bravely charging at Adamantoise and defeated it in merely 50 minutes, which is still quite long actually. His character was at level 69 and he made use of all relevant buffs and pummeled the monster with combo attacks. He eventually obtained a trophy, an adamantite bangle, and 50,000 gil for the feat.

Where To Find The Adamantoise

The Adamantoise is a humungous monster cloaked under a mountain, which can be found strolling in the Lonely Rumblings in Longwhyte. But before the fight can be activated, the gang must talk to Cindy first and complete her side quest, “Let Sleeping Mountains Lie” when the main story has been finished. Once the quest is cleared, make preparations at a hub then head towards the epicenter of the earthquake.

How To Defeat Adamantoise

Adamantoise packs a deadly punch and is invulnerable against holy weapons. The said monster is at level 99 and has an HP of 5 million. Pack on healing items and make sure the character’s level, at least 40, can sustain an hour long fight against such monster. Equip the strongest greatsword available as this is highly effective against Adamantoise. Aim for its weak spots, which are its right paw and its eyes when they are opened.

Ultimate pointer, don’t die otherwise, this will lead to repeating the strenuous boss fight. “Final Fantasy XV” has been in the works for 10 years. It was finally released worldwide on Nov. 29.
