Leah Remini Will Not Be Shaken, Neither Tom Cruise Nor Any Other Personalities' Threats
People are totally intrigued by Scientology. Many are hooked on the premiere episode of "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath" will be aired tonight. This US TV series will fume sobering serious revelations and accusations.
Actress Leah Remini, 45, has been documenting stories ever since leaving the Church of Scientology in 2013 and wrote her 2015 best-selling book "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology".
She says that Tom Cruise, 54, personally called her asking her to use her celebrity influence to get the negative reports about the church being pulled out from the network and the 60 Minutes magazine. She mentioned that Cruise was pressuring her to call her boss, CBS president Les Moonves. However, she assured that the president was not taking any part of his frightening actions.
On November 29, Remini told The Hollywood Reporter that the good Scientologist listens to the instructions by the church's most powerful personality. So she called Moonves, however, the CBS president has no right to dictate and interject the actress' opinion.
She added that neither Tom Cruise nor Jenna Elfman will call her; it would be the same story because she will not change her convictions. As a matter of truth, she stressed the point that she is just an actress who cannot demand her boss to take off the report from the segment.
She is no longer afraid of the multiple threats she's been receiving every day. In her segment, series of secretive associations and families' issues has been revealed and tearing members apart. However, despite all, she is comfortable exposing information that she happens to called her mission.
Whatever danger she is facing which feels unprotected but it doesn't give her reasons for not speaking out. Remini confirmed that the former Sea Org members Debbie Cook and one of the former members Katie Holmes are forbidden to talk out the agreements. In addition, she exposed that Tom Cruise is a messiah figure for those suppressive members of the organization.
