Now, the New Mexican author is determined to finish it by reducing his public appearances in 2017.
For those following the progress of "The Winds of Winter" and George RR Martin's activities, one will probably agree that the author is busy. GRRM loves conventions and conferences. However, while other "ASOIAF" fans love to see the author in these events, some other wish that he is at home working on "TWOW."
Many are disappointed that "GoT" Season 6 ended without any trace of "The Winds of Winter." The majority are hoping that the book will reveal Jon Snow's fate but they found the answer in the small screens. Some fans have already lost interest in the book series due to its constant delay.

George RR Martin announced on his blog that he is attending Guadalajara International Book Fair. He is also calling his followers to see him there for a book signing as it will be his last event for 2016. Also, he will be reducing his activities in 2017 to finish "The Winds of Winter."
"This is my last scheduled event for 2016," GRRM wrote. "My appearance schedule for 2017 is very limited, and will remain so until WINDS is completed."
