‘Facebook Messenger’ Gets ‘Instant Games’, Know How To Play It; Will It Be In WhatsApp?
"Facebook Messenger" has launched instant games in the application to keep active chatters and gamers together into the chat application. It also shows the commitment of the firm to make Facebook Messenger be active and updated though the firm has WhatsApp in its pocket. It is yet to see whether the firm has plans to bring the feature in WhatsApp.
The move to include instant games in Facebook Messenger is expected to make the chatting more fun-filled and engaging. It is reported that considering the flood of chat applications, people are not interested in using the same application for a long time unless it engages them well. It is known that Facebook Messenger has not had as many active users as WhatsApp has and this finally forced Facebook to buy the later for a whopping $19 billion.

Facebook Messenger instant games launched in U.S. and other 29 countries in the latest iOS and Android devices. There are 17 games included in the app and user can pick his game by the clicking game controller icon on Facebook Messenger. The icon is normally placed between GIF button and other app installation button. Since the games are built in HTML5 mobile standard, they load within seconds.
The major Facebook Messenger instant games are Words With Friends Frenzy, Space Invaders and Pac-Man, among others. The easy to play anytime, anywhere game format would receive good fans in the coming days. The users can challenge their friends for better points and levels and it even expects to create an atmosphere of competition, especially in group chats and that could be the one Facebook Messenger looking for.
Though Facebook Messenger has received instant games, there are no such plans heard of for WhatsApp. It can be concluded that the feature might get added up in the app in the near future. It should be noted that the audio and video feature initially added to Facebook Messenger and later it was implemented in WhatsApp as well. The same strategy may be applied in the case of instant games also.
