Pirelli Calendar 2017: Undressing Celebrities and Supermodels. Defining The Essence Of Beauty Through Nudity?
It's the last month of 2016 and many are on the move of creating a signature calendar for 2017. Pirelli Calendar 2017 recently unveiled their parade of studied stars posing in the most exciting, sensual, and striking scenes.
The story behind each post tells how creation is not the ultimate product but rather creation is about the surrounding world of the product, a sequence of concepts, and the attractiveness of the process said on Pirelli Calendar.
Peter Linbergh, the innovative photographer who worked with the monochromatic concept shots for vogue since 1988, leads this incredible work of art. He did the calendar shoot before with Pirelli last in 1996 and a comeback in 2002.
The unveiling of the tire brand "2017 Pirelli Calendar" in Paris, France gathered much of the surprise for this work of art featuring the famous actresses including Uma Thurman, Julianne Moore, and Nicole Kidman on a report made by CNN News.
For the second time, this calendar flouted their reputation being "Not Safe For Work" and made a new definition making a character between nudity and youth as its formula. Last year it featured both beauty and diversity of age with models including Annie Leibovitz, Serena Williams,Yoko Ono, and Amy Schumer.
"A person's face is like a mirror of his innermost feelings. For my last book, I photographed my good friend Wim Wenders and his wife Donata: when he saw his wife's portrait," Linbergh said in an interview with The Guardian. He further said that the husband in a surprise realized that a woman she lived with and love who she knows since forever represent another persona that he did not know.
His main point is bringing out the natural beauty of one person and not merely retouching it. As an artist, he believes that the commissioned work he does from magazines and other fashion platforms are not because of the clothes but the subject he captured. Clothes remain as props for his shoots.
