NCIS: Los Angeles Season 8 'Sirens' Episode Recap: Who Is The Mysterious Assailant? Is Kensi Finally Recovering?

This Sunday's episode of NCIS: Los Angeles finally revealed the mysterious assailant who killed two men posing as deputies of the sheriff outside Callen's house. Plus, is Kensi finally recovering?

The team finally discovered who the killer is and it is Natalie Grant or more known as Amber Wilcox. She admitted that she is the one responsible for killing the two men outside Callen's house. It also appears that Natalie is the handler of Karl Brown, the former NCIS: LA employee who is currently in solitary confinement after he leaked the information.

The bigger question now: Who is Natalie and Karl working? Unfortunately for the team, Natalie was stopped by the bullet before she can tell all the things they need to know.

Callen and Sam tracked her down first in Karl's house after it was discovered that she will ask Callen for protection. She is worried that Karl would spill her identity in jail.

Natalie requested for a lawyer and a witness protection for her safety but as the two are taking her away, they were ambushed and Natalie was shot in the firefight. The killer escaped and Natalie uttered a name: Ray.

Who is Ray? Eric tracks down the surveillance video that that shows this Ray is actually a woman and Granger recognized her as someone who hit him once in a bar. Granger and his group is on a mission to arrest this Ray as soon as she come to one of her old haunts but unfortunately for them, she is nowhere to be found.

Meanwhile, Kensi is showing that she is finally recovering. PT buddy Sullivan also visited her and told her that he already got the all-clear to return to his unit. It means that he'll be going overseas anytime now.

Inspired by Sullivan, Kensi went to the gun range and appears that his trigger finger is finally functioning. Hetty found her practicing and told Kensi to try shooting with her left hand. Since it's her non-dominant hand, Kensi had a hard time doing it.
