'Supergirl' Season 2 Spoilers, Air Date & Updates: Closer Look At Kara's Relationship With Mon-El, Winn & James
The latest episode of "Supergirl" showed Mon-El easing into Kara in the last scene. If Clark has Lois Lane, then Kara should have a pair of her own. As the viewers attempt to pair "Supergirl" with whoever she has a chemistry within the series, the love interests are getting bigger, and could soon move from love triangle to a love quadrangle.
One of Kara's love interests in "Supergirl" is Winn. In a report by TVLine, Jeremy Jordan reveals that Winn has long admired Kara, and is feeling worried that Mon-El might make a move on Kara. He never really got the chance in Season 1, so he has to deal with Kara's relationships moving forward.
James, the man closest to "Supergirl" Kara, according to TVLine, Andrew Kreisberg, the executive producer of the series, may have spilled that he and Kara are best as friends. The statement does not mean that James is over Kara, though.
But, not all are fond of the idea of "Supergirl" romance. BuddyTV thinks that while Kara will soon find love, Mon-El might not be the guy for her. The report adds that their budding romance if it ensues, might not be in sync considering the series' current state. Case in point Kara and James' love story that never blossomed. The report says that they never had a reason to be together, and if Mon-El is to be Kara's person, then he will have to sort his life out first.
Of course, Kara will not become a spinster in the show, and will eventually find a hot young romance for the girl of steel. But could it either be Winn, James, or Mon-El? Or perhaps there will be another man that will sweep "Supergirl" off her steel feet. For now, she is still quite busy fighting off aliens in the crossover event. So, the future love quadrangle will have to wait until the next episode entitled "Supergirl Lives" next Monday on The CW.
