Princess Beatrice of York, Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter accidentally sliced Ed Sheeran's left check after playing with the ceremonial sword. Sheeran never hesitated to hide the scar on his face after attending his late night engagement.

The singer immediately rushed to the hospital after the Princess swung the ceremonial sword not realizing Sheeran at her back on a report on Mirror. A source said that he could be blinded by the incident making the Royal Princess terribly upset.

The Princess of York invited Sheeran and twenty other guests over dinner which leads the small party to a prank of playing knighthood. The event happened at the home of the Duke of York, Prince Andrew at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Two of the famous guests were husband and wife James Blunt and Sofia Wellesley who started joking that he would like the knighthood. That is the time where the accident happened as everyone started having fun.

Beatrice voluntarily said she can order for the ceremonial sword. She asked James to kneel and "arise Sir James". As an alternative of tapping the sword on his shoulder, she swung it over hers which scarred Sheeran at her back.

Twitter fans accounts tried to ask if Sheeran got drunk and got the scar on his face. In the light of this event, both Buckingham Palace and Ed Sheeran's camp remained silent and refused to comment about the incident.

Princess Beatrice shocked the Royal Family and the rest of the world with her break-up with boyfriend Dave Clark. After the ten-year relationship, the Princess got fed up waiting for Dave to propose her a wedding, said on The Sun.

She made an ultimate sacrifice of following him in the United States and worked at a New York Investment bank, leaving her Royal Duties back home. There is no update to who the princess is recently dating or for a possible get back between her and Dave.
