Samsung Galaxy S5 Is Better Than iPhone 6, Consumer Satisfaction Survey Says

Samsung Galaxy S5 is better than iPhone 6, according to a recent customer satisfaction report.

The rankings carried out by Consumer Reports will be released in its February 2015 issue.

According to Consumer Reports, Samsung's Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S5 Active shared the top spot with a score of 79. LG G3 and Galaxy S5 Sport scored 78 and were at the second spot. iPhone 6 managed to score 77, and settled for the third spot.

iPhone 6 Plus scored 73 and was positioned at the 15th in the consumer satisfaction.

The HTC One (M8), Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge each scored a 75.

Motorola flagship Moto X scored 72 and was placed at 20th in the ranking.

BlackBerry Z10 was the highest rated BlackBerry phone with a score of 67 at 37th spot.

Top Windows Phone handset was Samsung ATIV SE which scored 73 and was at the 19th spot.

In another consumer survey, involving 70,000 US consumers, American Consumer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) rated Samsung's overall satisfaction rating points in mobile-computing category as 81 out of possible 10o. Samsung's score is two points ahead of Apple and is five points more from last year.
