'Family Guy' Air Date, News & Updates: Creator Seth MacFarlane Promises A Reward If Trump Acknowledges Science

"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane vowed to illustrate its main character Peter Griffin with his private parts exposed during an episode of his hit comedy with a condition that if Trump - who has received backlash for dismissive comments about climate change among other topics - helps further advance the progress of science with his administration.

President-Elect Donald Trump's comments about climate change had made many environmentalists worried. Seth MacFarlane has promised a rather provocative and weird reward to viewers if President Trump is to embrace science. "If Trump takes science seriously in a legislative way during his Presidency, Family Guy will show Peter with his d--- out on TV," MacFarlane declared on Twitter. "I promise."

The brazen proclamation came after a string of tweets involving a follower and the 43-year-old MacFarlane, who began the exchange by sharing a link to an article claiming that medicine labels must now state if there's no scientific evidence that the products actually work.

Trump has gained more critics with his stance on global warming, deeming climate change a hoax before eventually backtracking a bit in a recent interview with The New York Times.

"I have an open mind to it," Trump told the newspaper last week. "We're going to look very carefully. It's one issue that's interesting because there are few things where there's more division than climate change."

MacFarlane is famous for his satirize social and political issues on "Family Guy," often sparking controversy with the show's commentary. Questionably, how would MacFarlane be able to depict nudity on his primetime Fox show, considering that nudity is considered "indecent content" by the FCC and is therefore barred on network television? However, its fellow Fox cartoon "The Simpsons" showed Bart Simpson's privates in a gag during "The Simpsons Movie," but has never done so during its weekly Sunday night timeslot.
