Memphis Grizzlies had to deal a game with Zach Randolph out. Zach Randolph placed an indefinite leave due to its personal reason.

Memphis Grizzlies' Zach Randolph mom, Mae Randolph, died on the day of Thanksgiving. Memphis Grizzlies' head coach, David Fizdale, shows empathy on Randolph's situation. He said that Zach can take as much time as he needs to keep care on his family and for himself, he could go back on the Memphis Grizzlies when he is ready to go.

Memphis Grizzlies' general manager, Chris Wallace also made a statement about Zach Randolph's Mom's death. He said that Zach and his mom has an inseparable bond, Mae Randolph (Zach's Randolph's Mom) has always been proud of the 35-year-old veteran who averages 14.2 points, 7.9 rebounds in just 20 minutes. Chris Wallace mentioned that Mae Randolph is and always have been part of the Memphis Grizzlies as she usually supported his sons on his games, wearing Zach Randolph's jersey.

The Grizzlies are on 10-6 record now, fourth in the Western Conference falling to the Miami Heat. The decision is still on Zach Randolph whether he would play or not on their next game, versus the Miami Heat, again.

Zach Randolph's absence would literally be felt by the Grizzlies, as Zach Randolph stretches at both, defensive and offensive ends. As Grind City fell versus the White Hot on their last face off, Miami Heat, 90 and Memphis Grizzlies, 81. Tyler Johnson has been the spark plug of the Miami Heat, matching his season high, 22 points alongside with Dion Waiter's 15.
