Pokemon Go was a phenomenal mobile app that put everybody on their feet trying to "catch 'em all." So the developers are trying to win them back by setting loose a Ditto.

This game was even applauded by health experts setting a record-breaking statistics of people being active in the streets just trying to raise their level in the game. Pokemon Go gradually lost its enthusiasts as time goes by.

According to The Verge, Niantic found its last shot in getting back its players--by making them catch a hard-to-get Ditto. This particular monster isn't easy to find. You will need to catch a lot of Pokemon to get a Ditto. So, those ordinary Pokemon such as Pidgey, Rattata, Caterpie, or even a Kakuna. As much as you try to avoid them in your first stint as a Pokemon Master, you will need to catch as many of them as you can in hopes of finding a Ditto.

However, just like mentioned earlier, Ditto will not be easy to find. Literally, it won't be found since it will not appear on the map, reports The Guardian. You will really need to get your hands full of various Pokemon until you find Ditto among them. That's how Niantic tries to gain back its players.

There may not be a simpler and faster way to enjoy a Ditto, you may still try a geekier means of getting one. A Pokemon Go player once hacked his way of getting a Ditto even before it was officially launched in the game. If you're into hacking, you may try to do what he did, too.

Why Does Everybody Want A Ditto?

For those players whose enthusiasm for Pokemon Go still hasn't faded, a Ditto is extremely tactical. Ditto is a kind of Pokemon that can disguise itself into other Pokemon, not only by looks but also with what these Pokemon could do. So, owning a Ditto is like having any of those rare, strong Pokemon there could be.

And also, of course, everybody wants that something that is wanted by everybody--that is how marketing works. A Ditto could make or break the extension of Pokemon Go's bright future. Either that the players will go back in the streets, religiously catching all they could for a Ditto or they could be fed up with looking everywhere just to catch one but to no avail.
