The Inquisitr says that Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) will receive some life changing news as she goes to consult with Seer (John Kavanagh).
This news will not change her character just for short time but for entire life. Inquisitr believes that one of the possibilities for this news to be is news about Ragnar who went to confront King Ecbert (Linus Roache). His trip places him in a position of being attacked by King Aelle (Ivan Kaye), which is the way Ragnar ended his life according historical facts. Another thing in the new episodes will be Lagerthas desire to take over Kattegat as she believes that Ragnar or Aslaug are doing anything good for the village.
According to Movie News Guide, Katheryn Winnick hinted that her character Lagertha will experience some changes in sequel of the season 4. It said to be love experience with shield-maiden Astrid (Josefine Asplund). This is also said by one of series creators Michael Hist. he said that this experience will not make Lagertha lesbian, but it is a direct consequence of her bad experinces with man in the past. The new relationship will not be just sexual bate for the viewers but it will have an important emotional angle as well.
Jobs N Hire reports that Lagertha's lost of trust with men will drive in a relationship with new character on the show, shield-maiden Astrid. Lagertha's ill fate with men has been shown in previous seasons as she was betrayed by her first husband Ragnar Lothbrok and beaten by her second husband Earl Sigvard, King of Scandinavia.
New episode of "Vikings" will be aired on History channel on November 30, Wednesday at 9pm ET.
