The 23-year-old American singer and actress Ariana Grande arrived at the Microsoft Theater for the AMA 2016 with her date for that evening, her grandmother. Most of the fans and reporters were actually asking Grande on where is Mac Miller. According to her, "boyfriend is on tour!" The two confirmed their relationship to the public last August during some of their interviews on TV and radio.

It was a big night for Ariana Grande as she won and took home the award for Artist of the Year. Everyone was cheering for her as she made her way to the stage and received the trophy. She was holding back her tears as she delivered her acceptance speech nervously that she was thankful for the art that she possesses and she hoped that whatever she created in her life may somehow spread inspiration, and also hoped that she brought joy and made everyone feel unified and happy.

Right after the award's night, the American rapper and noted record producer Mac Miller posted on Instagram, a sweet message for her superstar girlfriend. He posted a photo of Grande and wrote, "I'm so proud of you. Thank you for bringing so much light into my life. Congratulations on the beautiful bond you have created with people all over the world. Continue to be you, because you put a smile on the face and hearts of so many. Artist Of The Year." Even though he was not able to escort Grande during that night, he is definitely always there to support her.
