The New Orleans Pelicans are on a three-game win streak right now. Yes, you heard that right, they are on a three-game win streak. It's even more amazing that they are even on a win streak, after starting a disappointing 2-10 this season.

The Pelicans just recently crushed the Atlanta Hawks 112-94. According to NOLA.com's John Reid, the Pelicans are on a three-game win streak. They have beaten the Portland Trailblazers last Saturday, the Charlotte Hornets last Sunday and just recently The Atlanta Hawks, definitely a great job by the Pelicans for defeating some of the top teams in the league.

This season, Anthony Davis has been on a roll this season averaging 31.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and nearly 3 blocks per game, according to ESPN.com. But after an amazing start to the season by "The Brow", the Pelicans still lost 10 games out of their first 12 games.

Good news for the Pelicans is that Jrue Holiday has returned to the team after attending to his wife who recently had brain surgery. Jrue is off to a great start this season and is averaging 21 points and 8 assists in his first 3 games, according to ESPN.com.  In his first three games, the Pelicans are playing great and again, they haven't lost a game since his return.

The team is currently 5-12 and good for 12th in the Western Conference. More good news for the Pelicans is that Tyreke Evans could return to action as early as December, according to CBS Sports. The former Rookie of the Year underwent three knee surgeries in a span of 4 months, according to The New Orleans Advocate's Scott Kushner.

Can the Pelicans still make the NBA playoffs if they get back Tyreke Evans? Will they get enough firepower from their bench to help their starters? Will Anthony Davis win the MVP this season?
