“Westworld” is another successful production, released by HBO. It has drama, mystery and unexpected plot twists, the high standard of which has become a trademark for the channel. Humans becoming robots, switched identities and much, much more.

It is now a common belief that Bernard Lowe (Jeffrey Wright) killed Elsie Hughes (Shannon Woodward). Elsie was surprised in an underground storage facility, where Bernard was shown to grab her head and lift her up from the ground. Screen Crush has come to save fans from any false beliefs. The woman that we saw on the screen really got murdered. This was confirmed by director Stephen Williams. Still, there is more mystery concerning this murder and it does not come from the "Westworld" show, but from its director. In an interview he confirmed the death of the woman, but brought up the question if the woman viewers saw on the screen really was Elsie Hughes.

Vanity Fair helps fans understand the glitches which Maeve’s (Thandie Newton) experiences.
According to them, not long ago, Maeve was playing the role of a homesteader. Living a simple, comfortable life together with her child.

Ford (Anthony Hopkins) and Bernard reprogrammed her and placed her in the “Westworld” setting.
Even though reprogrammed, her clothes, haircut and setting are much different from where she first came, which makes big problems for her. This causes constant switches of memories through her, where she relives former events, sometimes with a fatal exodus.

According to Time, Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) also experiences strange time lapses. She flashes back to the early days of the park. Then she gets memories of her gunning down the whole village and then taking her own life. It is either Ford (Anthony Hopkins) or the life in Westworld that sends her through constant lapses that make her question the reality of her existence. The only one who notices what happens is the daughter of Lawrence (Clifton Collins Jr.). Everyone else seems oblivious to the events.

“Westworld” Season 1 Episode 9 will air on 27 November on HBO.
