Following Norman Reedus' statement on his character, Daryl Dixon's fate, fans have speculated whether the most favorite "The Walking Dead" character will die. Since AMC's hit show started back in 2010, fans have been drawn to the badass redneck character.

Dixon's fan base continues to grow as each season progress. Fans even go as far as threatening the showrunners with starting a riot should something bad happen to Daryl. With this in mind, The Walking Dead's writers and showrunners have been taking every chance they get to scare the fans with plenty of Daryl's near-death experiences.

After Glenn Rhee's death at the beginning of the season, fans have wondered how long does Daryl and Carol (Melissa McBride) have before they meet their untimely demise? Both were part of the group's "Atlanta five", the five remaining survivors from the very first season. Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) are part of the said group as well. However, seeing as both of these characters are still alive and well in the comics, it is highly unlikely that the showrunners will write them off.

Carol seems safe at The Kingdom, and it seems like there will be a budding romance for her and King Ezekiel (Khary Payton). Daryl, on the other hand, is in the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) at the Sanctuary. This can only mean bad things for the character. After all, fans have already seen him suffer under Dwight (Austin Amelio) and Negan's care. Who knows how much torture can he get?

In The Walking Dead's latest episode titled "Go Getters", fans watch as Jesus and Carl unintentionally met on the back of Negan's supply truck. Both with different intentions: Jesus wants to find out where Negan and his Saviors live, while Carl wants to take them all out by himself.

In The Walking Dead's graphic novel, Carl Grimes did the exact same thing, and he succeeded with taking out a handful of Negan's men. However, he did not get the chance to kill Negan himself. Now, fans might remember that Negan threatened Rick and co. to kill Daryl should the latter try anything against Negan's wishes.

Carl will be crossing the line with attacking the Saviors if Jesus (Tom Payne) do not stop him. Does this mean that Daryl will suffer as a punishment? Fans who have read the comic series know that Negan will not hurt Carl. This does not look good for one Daryl Dixon indeed.

On another note, Sasha Williams (Sonequia-Martin Green), is doing everything she can to help Maggie (Lauren Cohan) at the Hilltop. This is evident in the show's latest episode as well. It even looked like she was preparing for a fight nearing the end of the episode. In one scene, fans can see Sasha sharpening her knife with Abraham's cigar in her mouth.

Is she planning on attacking the Saviors? Fans shouldn't forget that Sasha was Abraham's love interest before he went head to head with Lucille. Those who have read the comic series will know that Abraham's love interest in the comics, Holly, died in the hands of Negan during All Out War.

Holly joined Rick and the others in a war against Negan and his Saviors. In their attack, Holly decided to be left behind the Saviors compound in able to save the others, taking out as much enemy as she can in the process. Alas, Negan and his men caught her and kept her captive until she was revealed to be dead.

Will Sasha have the same fate? Or will it be one Daryl Dixon who will die in the hands of Negan and the Saviors?
