Facebook, Google, Microsoft & Other Tech Giant's Big Shift To Artificial Intelligence
Looking back, artificial intelligence was just a myth to most. However, now that everyone is finally learning to get used to our digitally-saturated world and generation, companies are eyeing to push their game into a whole new level.
Today, more and more companies are investing in automated services ran through artificial intelligence. Humans have recently received promotional ads about self-driving cars and other magnificent inventions which entail machines to do most of the work. Three Tech Giants have been dragged into recent updates about AIs, where they will be investing programs created by a group of Canadian researchers, CBC Canada reports.
In a recent interview with University of Montreal professor Yoshua Bengi, he said that "(AI) will affect pretty much every economic sector; right now is just the tip of the iceberg." He also added that researchers are now in the level of looking into and studying how people gets affected with technology when they interact with it most of the time. Because the study was so good and promising, Google, Facebook and Microsoft has already started funding for the project even before it was launched.
ZD Net reports the long-term effects of these Artificial Intelligences. First, companies will find it easier to find the right decisions through the AI's predictive analyitic engines. Because the creators made this a whole lot easier, people can now get access to algorithms without having to go to school and learn extensively about it.
Also indicated are the following effects for the companies who will join in the ride of Artificial Intelligence innovation: easier business application, self-improving platforms through the help of algorithms, changing business processes because of the new technologies available and the implementation process which is still in question up to this day. According to Wired, Cloud computing is also one of the big reasons why Microsoft, Google & Facebook are very decided to invest in artificial intelligence.
