Brad Pitt might be avoiding publicity after his messy divorce proceedings with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, but his back again in front of the cameras to promote his steamy WWII drama "Allied" in Paris with a pregnant Marion Cotillard.
The 52-year-old Oscar winner looked healthy and happy in the photo call of his new blockbuster film as he looks dashing in his navy suit as he posed with gorgeous and glamorous co-star Cotillard.
To add more suave, the actor added a thick coordinating winter coat and navy scarf around the neck to wrap himself up from the cold European weather.
Being pregnant to her second child did not hinder Cotillard from looking so stunning against the cameras as she clads herself with vibrant red one-shoulder dress. She subtly showcased her bump in the soft chiffon frock.
The movie received more buzz after Pitt divorced with Jolie with speculators tagging Cotillard as the third party that caused the power Hollywood couple to break up.
After the rumors have spread, the Oscar-winning actress took her Instagram page to post that she is loyal to her longtime partner Guillaume Canet especially that she has a family now.
Steamy but Soapy WWII film
The two might look good together in the red carpet with their God-given looks and charisma, how does the critics see their new WWII film directed by renowned director Robert Zemeckis?
Jake Coyle of Associated Press gave a positive remark on this film, saying that it is big and sturdy and its fills the movie.
Edward Douglas of New York Daily News also agreed with Coyle, adding that Allied is worth the money if audience enjoys awkward romantic flings during WWII, especially if its involve the steamy chemistry of the protagonists.
Arizona Republic's Bill Goodykoontz said the film is a decent one with Cotillard and Pitt bringing their gems to make the film shine, but it never fully reached its full potential.
Kyle Smith's review on New York Post said the film is slow, lukewarm, and soapy even if the stars really tried to save the film with their charm. He added that when the thrills were about to launch, the film ended.
Despite being a two-protagonist film, Pitt was not able to uphold his contribution in the film with his performance, according to the review of Michael Phillips of Chicago Tribune.
Currently, the film sits at 60% at RottenTomatoes, a lower rating from Zemeckis' previous film "The Walk," Pitt's "The Big Short," and Cottilard's "April and the Extraordinary World."
Allied also stars Lizzy Caplan and Matthew Goode. It would be released in US on November 23.
