'John Wick 2' Release Date, News & Update: Sequel Flawed, Doomed To Fail, But Trailer Looks Promising, Says Producers?
The sequel of the first installment of John Wick sizzles in a new plot for the movie. In "John Wick 2," the production promises to level up the stunts and action performed that viewers loved in the first chapter.
It was learned that viewers will expect a little twist in the story line of "John Wick 2." The first chapter saw John's wife died of an illness and his dog killed inside their home by a son of a Russian mob. He swore retribution and got what he wanted. The second chapter of the movie is when a former associate of the international hitman, John Wick coerced him to reinstate himself from retirement. His associate is planning to take over an organization called "The Assassin's Guild". With a blood oath to help his colleague, he made his trip to Rome where he will be facing some of the notorious assassins money could buy, as stated in an article in Movies Cheat Sheet.
Keanu Reeve's "John Wick 2" will be joined by most of the cast from the first movie. A female assassin is in this movie once again. She is out for John Wick's blood. The assassin's name is Ares, played by Ruby Rose.
Ian McShane will be coming back as part of the cast of "John Wick 2." McShnane will still be playing the part of Winston, owner of the Continental Hotel. This Hotel is no ordinary lodging house. It is a haven for international assassins. This is a preferred hotel for mercenaries due to special services offered like the privacy of killers, the availability of weapons that they need, the services of cleaners after a blood bath, and the implementation of the Assassins Guild rules and regulations.
Bridgit Moynahan will also be on the set as John Wick's wife. John Leguizamo, the mechanic, will also be back alias Aurelio in the movie. "Common" is the Star Villain of the film.
Viewers will be experiencing the action and excitement they had on the first movie, even better. "John Wick 2" promises more of that on February 10, 2017, its release date, according to cinemablend.
