There is light at the end of the dark tunnel for people infected with HIV. A cure is at hand.

In Israel, scientists had discovered a protein that could reduce HIV virus of up to 95% in a week's time. The discovery is a real cure for "HIV" since the conventional treatment of patients only delays the effect of the virus, prolonging the agony of the patient. This time, elimination of the virus is vital. The drug is developed at Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

The cure is undergoing rigid tests before it is released to the market. Unlike other drugs, the medication kills the "HIV" virus and completely gets rid of the dreaded disease and preventing it from recurring, as stated in an article in WND.

Israel is the leading country involved in research for the cure of HIV/AIDs. In Spain, There is also a research going on for the cure of "HIV". Doctors had patterned their method for a cure of the "HIV" virus from the "Berlin Man" known as Timothy Brown using the stem cell infusion from a donor who was naturally resistant to "HIV" last 2007. The virus was eliminated from Brown's system after 6 years, according to an article in IFL Science.

Spanish Scientists tested their findings using stem cell transfusion from an umbilical cord of a donor who is HIV resistant. The test was done to a patient called the "Barcelona Man". After three months, the patient was declared free of the "HIV" Virus.

In the USA, similar studies are in progress too. They prepared the patient in a process called "Conditioning", wherein blood cells are first destroyed by radiation. It is then replaced by new cells with the infusion of the CCR Delta 35 Mutation. These mutations prevent the HIV virus from clinging to the new cells. In addition, to expedite the regeneration process of damaged cells, Stem cells are injected to the patient from a donor with natural resistance against the "HIV" virus.

The cure is in the horizon. Patients will soon be free of the dreaded disease.
