The "American Horror Story: Roanoke" season 6 finale was able to jam in another true-crime story in an hour. The season has also brought Lee's chaotic story. And for those who have not watched the finale episode of the "American Horror Story" season 6, it has revealed who survived the horror of "Roanoke." Yes, everyone thought it would be Lee. But it was her daughter, Flora.
The season finale episode was introduced in a different retrospective, seeming like an innocent time. The cast of "My Roanoke Nightmare" gathers for a Paleyfest Panel. According to Variety, Lee has become a polarizing figure after the events of "My Roanoke Nightmare" for being caught on camera killing multiple people.
The world watches the trial for the murder and somehow, Lee's legal team managed to win the case because of a strong strand of marijuana grown by the Polks that must have made Lee go crazy and was relieved from the case.
The district attorney appealed and insisted that Lee is guilty, brings her back to the court and accuses her of killing Mason, her ex-husband. Flora is on the witness stand and testifies she saw Lee kill Mason using a rock in the woods. Lee's lawyer brought up Priscilla, Flora's ghost friend and insisted that Flora's statement were coming from an imaginative child's mind. Lee was acquitted again but Mason's family pulls Flora away from her, as narrated by Entertainment Weekly.
Journalist Lana Winters made a special interview with Lee. Just an hour before the broadcast of the interview, Flora went missing and Lana accused her of kidnapping her again. Lee escapes to find Flora.
On the other hand, investigators set up cameras in the Roanoke house trying to catch any sort of paranormal activity. They find Lee, who returned to the house to look for Flora. The investigators helped her but the spirits kills them. Luckily, she manages to find Flora.
Flora reveals that she has been living in the woods with Priscilla for two weeks. Lee convinces her to go home but Flora wants to die so she can stay with Priscilla to protect her from the Butcher. Lee offers to die on the property and protect Priscilla instead. As the show ends, Flora leaves the exploding house as Lee is being killed by Priscilla as they planned.
