After the election fever, there are hostilities between the anti-Trump supporters and the pro-Trump faction. The anti-Trump side showed physical outrage when, on some occasions, Trump supporters are seen publicly beaten for their support on Donald Trump. Even on internet, a mother beats his son upon learning that he supported president, went viral. The anti-Trump dissenters have even leveled it up and went economic.

Going economic for the anti-Trump dissenters meant calling for the boycott of products on the market that had aligned themselves to the Trump presidential campaign. On the other hand, Trump supporters are ready to spend more on the products that aligned with the ideals of the elected president.

One of the companies that was earlier hit by the Trump supporters is GrubHub and Seamless, a food delivery services company. It was targeted by Trump supporters after they found out that the CEO, Matt Maloney, sent emails to its and every employee stating his anti-Trump policy. Maloney said that Trump's ideals are hateful, anti-immigrant, and nationalistic. He further added that if his employees adhere to these beliefs, then they better resign from his employment. Maloney later followed up on his email in defense that he never asked Trump voters to resign, quoted in an article in Gizmodo.

Pepsico is also being targeted by Trump supporters after a statement from its CEO Indra Nooyi. She merely stated that her workers are very worried of Trump's policy on intolerance. Her statement made her company a candidate of being boycotted by Trump supporters. Pepsi have a diverse range of products that are embedded in the American culture like Mountain Dew, Lipton, Mug, Mist, SoBe), Gatorade, Lays, Ruffles, Smartfood, Cheetos, Doritos, Rice-a-roni, Quaker Oats, Cap'n Crunch, Rockstar energy drink, and Tropicana juices.

According to Bryan Menegus from Gizmodo, if Trump supporters were to boycott products that has to do something with Trump's ideals, he posted these products as possible items that Trump supporters should do without:

  •  Google
