‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Episode 4 & 5 Recap and Predictions: Is Maggie Ready To Face Another Battle?

After the debut episode of season 7, succeeding episodes have shown "The Waking Dead" universe in separate locations. This mirrors the real deal behind Rick and the people of Alexandria - apart and divided. Maggie might just start a new fight when she gains back her strength after Glenn's death.

Before Negan showed up in episode 4, it was apparent to Rick that he has not recovered yet from what happened in the woods. With all confidence and courage gone, he is even shaken by Negan's untimely visit. Rick made it clear to the rest of the group that Negan is now in charge, and turning a deaf ear to Negan means asking for someone to get killed.

Alexandria was lucky enough to have Olivia spared from Negan's brutality after Rick found in Spencer's room the two guns that were missing from the inventory. His "emasculation" as Digital Spy described it, reached to the point of begging Michonne to surrender her rifle. The entire episode was a smack to Rick stirring up speculations and doubts among the group under his leadership. Spencer was upfront with Rick on this matter, and it seems like the same thoughts are also creeping into Michonne and Carl.

Now that their armory is emptied, how else can they survive any attack in the future? An answer could lie somewhere ahead as the episode ended with Rosita asking Eugene to make some bullets.

In a promo video of episode 5 titled "Go-Getters," it began with Maggie lying in probably one of the rooms in Hilltop. Being a troubled man that he is, will Gregory still back up Rick's group or will he choose to make a deal again with the Saviors at the cost of Alexandria?

Glenn's death will cause big changes in Maggie. Following the comic book, she is seen to gain all the strength that she needs to lead Hilltop in their battle, Inquisitr reported.

But that will not be easy remembering that Gabriel and Rick made it appear that Maggie was dead. Gold Derby also reported predictions of the Saviors finding out that Maggie is alive. Negan doesn't like surprises, and if he finds out about this, a bloodshed by Lucille could happen again.
