Dwayne ‘The Rock' Johnson is People’s 2016 Sexiest Man Alive

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is not just the highest paid actor because he is also the 2016 Sexiest Man Alive for People. The magazine described the Moana star as "sweet, smart - and sculpted."

Johnson called the award as "awesome" and realized "how cool and exciting it is". And when asked about becoming comfortable on his own skin and built, he admitted that it "took a lot of time." To celebrate his newly bagged title, Dwayne Johnson will be guesting The Ellen DeGeneres Show this Tuesday.

When asked what his fans find sexy about him, the actor replied, "This is the kind of question that gets me into trouble,". He also admitted that his grooming habits might have something to do with his new title "It starts with the skin," and advised "We've only got one face. You've got to take care of it. So I exfoliate."

Another factor that allowed the star to grab the Sexiest Man Alive title is his well-liked character. He said that his relationship with his girlfriend Lauren Hashian, and their daughter Jasmine and his daughter Simone kept him grounded. He brags "We just have this awesome family that is truly non-traditional but so rooted in love. And that's such a cool thing,"

Just this year, The Rock was also named to be the highest paid actor in the whole world. It was revealed that he earned $64.5 million in a year ending June 1. The said amount is two times higher than what he had earned last year.

People magazine definitely made some changes in their choice of the Sexiest Man Alive. To note, they were badly criticized for always choosing a white man for the said title. Johnson becomes the first actor with Samoan heritage to win the title.
