Lieutenant Jay Baker with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office says Corey was arrested and was released on the same day. Sligh posted a $22,000 bail. The police report shows that the alleged molestation took place from April to September this year. It was also around this time that the incident was reported.
The spokesman for Cherokee County Sheriff's Office says that Sligh knew the victim and that the "incident occurred in the spring." According to PEOPLE magazine, one of the victim's parents was the one who reported the molestation to the police on September 24.
Sligh, 29 years old, was arrested a few weeks later, according to police documents obtained by the said magazine. To this day, it is still unclear whether Slight has entered a plea. His attorney could not be immediately reached as well. None of his representatives have issued a statement about the incident.
Fans might remember the actor during his several appearances on CBS' The Young and the Restless back in 2014 where he had a recurring role as a bartender and waiter, according to International Business Times.
His IMDB page also shows that Sligh also appeared as an extra in God is Dead back in 2008, and also co-starred in the web series All About Lizzie. Despite the allegations, Sligh claims that he is innocent.
Fans might also remember Sligh when he was brutally beaten back in 2014. According to the Daily Mail, Sligh was walking through a Rite Aid parking lot in West Hollywood on Thanksgiving when suddenly he was struck by a vehicle then beaten.
Sligh was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he suffered from multiple injuries. Watch the video below.
