'Vikings' Season 5 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Will It Be The End For Ragnar? What We Know So Far!
"Vikings" Season 5 is confirmed to return and there are speculations that Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) may die. It is also speculated that Ivar the Boneless (Alexander Hogh Andersen) is be the next king of Kattegat.
In a report from Counsel & Heal, Ivar the Boneless is the one chosen by Ragnar to follow his footsteps in "Vikings" Season 5. Even though Ivar has a certain disability, he seems to be consistent in being skilled and has a tough heart fit for a king.
"Vikings" is also about Rollo and Ragnar. The brothers have been making the battle personal. In Season 4 Part 2, Ragnar comes back to Kattegat looking old. He returns with Rollo undefeated. It is speculated that Lagertha Lothbrok (Katheryn Winnick) is going to battle in the second part of the fourth season. She is likely to get the throne which she believes is rightfully hers being the first wife.
According to a report in Mobile & Apps, "Vikings" Season 5 is speculated to have more bloody scenes. Ivar is going to prove his worth being the rightful king of Kattegat. This season is also going to have Ragnar meet up with King Aelle (Ivan Kaye).
Additionally Lagertha is going to find her love in Astrid (Josefin Asplund). This added character is based on the research by Oxford University Historian Dr. Peter Frankopan. Astrid is going to make her appearance in "Vikings" Season 5.
The Bitbag reports that there are more characters to be introduced in "Vikings" Season 5. It is also speculated that Ragnar is going to die in this season. Other characters to join the upcoming season are Jonathan Rhys Meyers who will play the role of Dracula. Adam Copeland is to play the role of Ketill Flatnose.
Ketill Flatnose is a warrior who has conquered Iceland. He also set up a Viking settlement in the said place. "Vikings" Season 5 is filled with more challenges for Ragnar and his kingdom.
"Vikings" Season 5 is set to air in 2017. Meanwhile Season 4 Part to is to return on November 30, 2016.
