‘Blindspot’ Season 2 Episode 9 Updates & Spoilers: Reveal Of The FBI Mole; What Is The Fate Of Kurt’s Baby?
“Blindspot” Season 2 Episode 9 promises to be a shocking mid-season finale that will finally disclose the answer to one of the biggest mysteries of “Blindspot” Season 2 – the identity of the FBI mole. It is very likely that one of the characters will be killed in this chair-gripping episode that will surely keep the suspense level very high.
According to Martin Gero, who created the show, “Blindspot” Season 2 Episode 9 will be the most harrowing episode in the history of the television series, Movie News Guide reports. He thinks that Blindspot fans will be thrown into an emotional rollercoaster in this episode and the promo video certainly seems to confirm that opinion. Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) risks her life to send a warning about Sandstorm’s plan to attack and puts her team in jeopardy as they try to rescue her in this thrilling episode.
Not only will Jane’s survival skills be put to the test, but the baby of Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Allie (Trieste Kelly Dunn) will face a life-threatening situation too. Although Kurt has no intention of getting back together with Allie, he is still anticipating the birth of his baby. The baby’s fate will certainly have a big impact on Kurt’s character development in the second half of “Blindspot” Season 2.
The promo clip for “Blindspot” Season 2 Episode 9 begins with Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi) saying that she has spent the past six years trying to catch Sandstorm but everything will change after that day. In another scene, Roman (Luke Mitchell) points a gun at a distressed Jane while Shepherd’s (Michelle Hurd) voice could be heard saying that it is time to say goodbye. The setting then changes to the hospital where Kurt tells Zapata (Audrey Esparza) that Allie was involved in an accident and he does not know how the baby is. The video clip ends with an explosion, Jane screaming in tears, and a cryptic message asking fans to wait for the final 5 minutes of the episode.
Entertainment Weekly speculated the FBI mole to be none other than Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi) who is the head of a division in NSA. Nas managed to gain the trust of the FBI with a tragic story of how one of her own at NSA turned out to be a sleeper agent for Sandstorm after the death of their leader, Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste). However, Entertainment Weekly also admitted that this could be exactly what Gero intended the fans to think to throw them off on who the real mole is. Nevertheless, all shall be revealed in “Blindspot” Season 2 Episode 9.
“Blindspot” Season 2 Episode 9 titled “Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform” will air on November 16, on NBC.
