‘Attack On Titan’ A New Season, New Chapter & A New Game
“Attack on Titan” was one of the anime series that grabbed fans from the very beginning and has been shaking them through the reaches of the room with every new detail revealed about the series. Season 2 will not be any more merciful to its viewers than its predecessor.
Mikasa (Yui Ishikawa), Eren (Yuki Kaji) and Armin (Marina Inoue) may no longer be the grand trio they were. Movie News Guide reports that there will be some inner turmoil among the team’s members which will lead to the end of their collaboration. It is rumored that Eren will discover some terrible things about his past and about the world he lives in. This will break apart the magnificent team and will inflict serious injuries to Eren’s mentality, when he discovers that his whole life has been a lie up until that very moment.

Through the chapter, the horrific story of Grisha, the father of Eren is revealed. Since reading his father’s journals, Eren has acquired a connection to his father, where in his dreams, he sees his memories. The Marleys’ plan of eradicating all Eldians is in its prime. Hundreds of people get injected with Titan spinal fluid and are thrown off a giant wall. The shock triggers an irreversible titan transformation that turns them into mindless killing machines.
Grisha witnesses this after the series of brutal tortures he had been put through. The most painful moment being his wife getting thrown off the wall, turning into the Smiling Titan. The same titan which destroyed Eren’s home and ate his family is his father’s ex-wife. Just as Klaus was about to throw Grisha off the wall, Kruger pushed Klaus instead. Then Kruger cut open his arms saying that this is how you enforce a titan transformation. After that, the ship is broken into debris.
According to Gematsu, there is an “Attack on Titan” game coming for Nintendo’s 3DS. It will feature a pair of original characters, who after a titan attack, fall in secret corridors under an old castle. Since their gear is broken, they cannot climb up and have to fight their way through the castle, reaching freedom. The game will cost 5,800 yen or around $54.00 and the Treasure Box edition will be 12,800 yen or around $118.00.
