Kate Fischer Advises Mariah Carey To Play James Packer's 'Game' For Happy Ever After
Kate Fischer, one of media mogul James Packer's exes wrote a letter, advising diva Mariah Carey to play Packer's game, should she want to reconcile with him. The 42-year-old Australian actress and model also said on her letter that she felt "a real sense of déjà vu, after hearing about the news of Carey and Packer's split.
The letter, which was published on the web site New Idea, says that the secret to living a happy ever after with James Packer is to let him make key decisions. Fischer confessed that like Carey, she also fell for the wits, lively personality and charm of the 49-year-old media mogul.
Fischer then narrated on how she met Packer: at a bar, and she had just landed a role in "Sirens" film. According to her, Packer approached her and whispered on her ears, "Dinner tomorrow night?" From the first date came several more until they were officially an item for five years. Before their split in 1998, Fischer and Packer had been engaged for two years.
Mariah Carey and James Packer met in 2014 during a red carpet premiere for the movie "Hercules." Their meeting led to several dates and it was not until in June 2015 when fans learned about their romance, a previous report said. In January 2016, both made an announcement that they are getting married, although no specific date was yet given.
A report from an Australian online magazine said that James Packer called the engagement off, speculating that Mariah Carey was having an affair with Bryan Tanaka, one of her backup dancers. But such alleged indiscretion was clarified by the diva herself. Reports also claimed James Packer grew tired of Mariah Carey's spending habits.
Mariah Carey preferred to keep her romance private. Rather than going after Packer as suggested by reports, she keeps her dignity and composure.
