'Deadliest Catch' Star Jake Harris Seriously Injured; Survives Grave Physical Trauma, Robbery
"Deadliest Catch" reality TV star Jake Harris figured in a serious physical injury over the weekend. The reality TV star experienced a severe beating during the weekend. His brother, Josh shared the show's official Facebook page the ordeal his younger brother went through. Josh says a couple drove Jake home, after going to a Casino along Marysville. The 'couple' allegedly, injured and robbed Jake. His brother received physical trauma after the attack over a heated argument inside the car. Josh's brother was then thrown out of a car on the side of the Highway Mukilteo Speedway.
Police Officer of the Everett Aaron Snell confirms the incident stating that a woman in another vehicle witnessed Jake lying in the 700 block along the Highway 526. She then called 911 to get some help. Police says, Jake remained alert and consciously answering questions. The victim was later transferred to Providence Regional Medical Center and was confined in the ICU due to a "cracked skull" caused by a heavy blow and brain trauma.
According to the Providence Hospital Spokesperson, the victim is in satisfactory state and on the process of recovery.
Meanwhile, report says, Police could not point suspects at the moment, while the investigation is still up. The Harris family is said to be cooperating with the Detectives who are in charge of the procedure. Jake and clan, including his late dad, Philip Harris are regulars of the show, 'Deadliest Catch'. Philip died at the age of 53, February of this year. The series follows the stories of fisher folks, their real struggles, and perils of their fish-catching lifestyle. The scenes document the dangerous job and how fisherman faces life-threatening adventures on the sea. The family uses the crab fishing vessel, Cornelia Marie, as they navigate around Alaska featured on the Discovery Channel for about ten years now.
