The release of the third season of the highly popular Japanese anime series "Tokyo Ghoul" remains in limbo due to lack of official air date from its production studio, Pierrot. Fans anticipating its launch are eagerly waiting for its release following the online leakage of the plot for the third installment.

"Tokyo Ghoul's" production team has not confirmed the leaked plot. People from Pierrot have kept their lips sealed on the story arcs that are making the rounds of anime forums. According to the website Jobs & Hire, Studio Pierrot has endorsed the production of the anime to Madhouse. This development is cited as one of the main causes of delays.

The delays hounding "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 have disappointed fans but they believe that the change could improve the overall aesthetics and technical aspects of the series. Madhouse is the same studio that is behind the hit anime series "One Punch Man" and "Death Note."

Extra violence, blood, and gore might highlight the third season of "Tokyo Ghoul." Madhouse is popular for infusing dark tones into their produced anime such as "Death Note," which is known for incorporating violence and nudity.

According to "Game & Guide," the storyline of "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 will explore the struggles of Touka Kirishima as she enters her college life. The website confirms that the next season will be psychologically disillusioning and is the darkest yet. Touka's dislike toward Ken Kaneki will also be revealed.

iTech Post reported that the third chapter of "Tokyo Ghoul" might be rushed for a 2016 year-end release. That will surely excite fans who have been patiently waiting to view their favorite anime on the small screen. "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 will have a new identity for the lead character Ken Kaneki who lost his memory in the previous season.
