'Beauty & The Beast' Trailer Out; Draws Mixed Reactions Over CGI Effects
Emma Watson went live on Facebook together with the cast of the 2017 remake of Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve's "Beauty and the Beast" film adaptation to answer questions from fans. The official premiere trailer for the live move has already been released today.
Actors for "Beauty and the Beast" were given questions, which were submitted by fans and the first question they have to answer was to name a character from Disney that they would love to play. Watson answered she enjoys portraying Belle, although she would also want to play the "teapot."
Dan Stevens was asked if there is something in the remake that has not been seen before. Although the answers would be labeled as spoilers, Stevens fairly answered it. He said that fans would be given a chance to see the past of "The Beast" and why he is how he is in the story.
Walt Disney's 2017 remake of the magical tale is powered by CGI including the character of "The Beast" and all member-objects in the mansion that are capable of communicating in their universe. The CGI effects eke various reactions, criticizing the contrast between Emma Watson's character, which is real, and those powered by the CGIs.
"Beauty and the Beast" is a classic novel published in the 18th century and tells of a fairy tale between "The Beast" and "The Beauty." The first film adaptation was released in 1991 by Walt Disney and was animated and musical. In the latest adaptation and based on the trailer released, Emma Watson's portrayal of Belle is promising.
In the story, Belle, the youngest of three daughters of a widower and wealthy merchant, is depicted as kind-hearted, a wide reader and very lovely. Her two older sisters are selfish, spoiled, wicked and treat Belle not as their own sister, but as a servant. "Beauty and the Beast" is set for release in March 2017.
