Nike HyperAdapt Self-Lacing Shoes Available on December for $720
Having a pair of shoes that seems to have their own life for being able to tie their laces by themselves is not economical. In order for you to get a hand of the Nike HyperAdapt self- lacing shoes, you'd have to pay $720. And you'd have to make an appointment to see and purchase one.
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is the first mass-market sneaker to use Nike's new self- lacing technology, as reported by Business Insider. The report also stated that a spokesperson from Nike has told the news site that in order for interested customers to see and purchase a pair of the self- lacing shoes in person, they would have to make an appointment starting December 1. The shoes will be available in three different colors: black, white, and black/gray.
According to USA Today, the Nike HyperAdapt , which was inspired by a pair of shoes worn in "Back to the Future II," will be officially released this month. The details on the pricing, according to the news site were first revealed by YouTuber Jacques Slade, who runs a channel that is devoted to latest sneakers.
The self- lacing shoes will use a magnetic adapter to charge the shoes which will fully recharge after 3 hours. Its battery life lasts up to two weeks, the same report added. The shoe will also feature the signature adaptive fit, which senses when the wearer's foot is in the shoe using a pressure sensor and will automatically tighten the straps until it senses resistance based on an "algorithmic pressure equation," as described by Wired. There will also be LED lights on the sole that will tell the wearer when the shoe lace is tightening or low on battery charge.
Nike HyperAdapt were first announced by the shoe company during its innovation conference in March. It was also reported that Nike CEO Mark Parker has described the shoes as self- lacing sneakers that will be "as big as self- driving cars with both mainstream appeal and application."
